— As Work Resumes At Local Government Project Sites
Still basking in the euphoria of the just concluded harvest of projects executed simultaneously across Emohua LGA within one year of the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd, the people of Emohua local government area may be witnessing another phase of project commissioning before the end of 2022, as work resumes in ernest at projects sites across the LGA, following the council chairman’s directive to contractors handling local government projects.
Dr. Chidi Lloyd during an unscheduled visit to project sites within Emohua local government council headquarters on Friday said the construction of the local government council secretariat (administrative building) conceptualized by his administration is expected to be completed in December 2022.
Other projects expected to be completed for inaugurated in the next phase of project harvest across the local government area include the 350 capacity Chief Emeka Woke ICT studio situated at the former council hall, the 1.5 kilometer Ukeli road project in Rundele, as well as the 1 kilometer Chief Nyesom Wike Drive in Akpabu community.
The council chairman charged the contractors handling the construction of the local government legislative council complex and the office complex in the council headquarters, as well as the construction of 1 kilometer Ubimini road in Ubimini community to intensify efforts to ensure that the projects are delivered within the stipulated time and in line with their specifications.
